There's an unspoken belief among the dominant downstream Protestant culture of innate cultural superiority, which is, obviously, objectively true. Liberty and individualism and common law and feminism and secular governance and decorum are cultural touchstones genuinely worth dying for. They're also the touchstones of an Ouroborosian culture that is innately self devouring. Without strong in-group preference, there's little to preserve a culture except the innate potency of its telos, which is almost but not quite enough. Within the next decade or so a quiet cultural movement will bubble to the surfaces that forces Protestant Anglosphere culture to examine itself and become self aware. We're already seeing early hints of it with things like "WEIRD culture" becoming more and more common in common parlance, but I think more silent internet grown grassroots ideas will swim upstream into the public consciousness in the end. This cultural movement will, through the boundless underground web of karma, influence politics and integrate itself into a political movement that balances out the Horde I mean MAGA and represents an answer to the growing dissatisfaction with immigration and cultural decay. This is all going to happen very subtly and subconsciously because that's the Anglo way and nobody will notice that whatever the establishment was up to during the "woke" years was silently replaced with an even tighter sense of paternalistic elitism, now aimed at retaining as much of a self devouring culture as possible. It's very easy to imagine this cultural movement finding natural allies in post-pinetrees and granola moms, which the current admin specifically targeted with MAHA, and it's very easy to imagine it stealing some of the protectionism of Trump but doing it in a pragmatic, systemic, and "humane." way. It's very easy to imagine it also finding a lot of new and powerful common ground with the rest of the Anglosphere countries, which are dealing with the same cultural difficulty but to an even greater degree, since they lack the large populist movement and Southern cultures that America has. It's hard to say exactly how successful this will all be politically, but I think TOTAL PROTESTANT SELF AWARENESS is an inevitable cultural development, and whether it produces a viable political movement on its own, it will irreversibly alter the destiny of the Anglosphere.
