Ode XXIII
The letter became a great tablet, written wholly by the finger of God.
1.
Joy belongs to the holy ones,
and who shall put it on but they alone?
2.
Grace belongs to the elect,
and who shall receive it but those who trusted in it from the beginning?
3.
Love belongs to the elect,
and who shall put it on but those who possessed it from the beginning?
4.
Walk in the knowledge of the Lord, and you shall know the grace of the Lord without envy,
and his joy and the perfection of his knowledge.
5.
And his thought was like a letter,
and its will descended from the height.
6.
And it was sent like an arrow from a bow,
shot with force.
7.
And many hands rushed upon the letter,
to seize it and take it and read it.
8.
And it fled from their fingers,
and they were afraid of it and of the seal upon it.
9.
Because they were not permitted to loose its seal,
for the power upon the seal was greater than they.
10.
But those who saw the letter went after it, to learn where it would rest,
and who would read it,
and who would hear it.
11.
But a wheel received it,
and it came upon it.
12.
And a sign was with it,
of the kingdom and of governance.
13.
And everything that was disturbing the wheel,
it reaped and cut down.
14.
And it gathered a multitude that were adversaries,
and it buried and uprooted many thick growths.
15.
And it made a broad way.
16.
The head descended to the feet, because the wheel ran to the feet,
and whatever sign came upon it.
17.
The letter was one of command,
and therefore all lands were gathered together.
18.
And there was seen at its head the head that was revealed,
the Son of Truth from the Father Most High.
19.
And he inherited everything and took possession,
and the thought of the many was brought to nothing.
20.
And all the deceivers grew bold and fled,
and the persecutors were extinguished and blotted out.
21.
And the letter became a great tablet,
written wholly by the finger of God.
22.
And the name of the Father was upon it, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
to reign forever and ever. Hallelujah.

ܚܰܕܽܘܬܳܐ ܕܩܰܕܺܝ̈ܫܶܐ ܗ̱ܝܼ܆
ܘܡܰܢܽܘ ܢܶܠܒܫܺܝܗܿ ܐܶܠܴܐ ܐܶܢ ܗܼܶܢܽܘܢ ܒܰܠܚܽܘܕ.

ܛܰܝܒܽܘܬܳܐ ܕܓܰܒܰܝܴ̈ܐ ܗ̱ܝܼ܆
ܘܡܰܢܽܘ ܢܶܣܒܺܝܗܿ ܐܠܴܐ ܐܶܢ ܗܿܳܢܽܘܢܿ ܕܰܬܟܺܝܠܺܝܢ ܥܠܶܝܗܿ ܡܼܶܢ ܒܪܺܝܫܺܝܬ.

ܚܽܘܒܳܐ ܕܰܓܒܰܝܱ̈ܐ ܗ̱ܘ܆
ܘܡܰܢܽܘ ܢܶܠܒܫܺܝܘܗ̱ܝ ܐܶܠܴܐ ܐܶܢ ܗܿܳܢܽܘܢܿ ܕܰܩܢܰܐܘܽܗ̱ܝ ܡܼܶܢ ܒܪܺܝܫܺܝܬ.

ܗܰܠܶܟܘ ܒܺܝܕܰܥܬܶܗ ܕܡܳܪܝܳܐ܆ ܘܬܶܕܥܽܘܢ ܛܰܝܒܽܘܬܶܗ ܕܡܳܪܝܳܐ ܕܠܴܐ ܚܣܳܡܳܐ܆
ܘܠܰܕܝܳܨܶܗ ܘܰܠܫܽܘܡܠܳܝܳܐ ܕܝܺܕܰܥܬܶܗ.

ܘܡܰܚܫܰܒܬܶܗ ܗܘܼܳܬ ܐܰܝܟ ܐܶܓܰܪܬܳܐ܆
ܘܨܶܒܝܳܢܳܗܿ ܢܚܶܬ ܡܼܶܢ ܡܪܰܘܡܳܐ.
