Let us not stray from the way, nor from the offering made to him who holdeth the soma—Indra.
Let there be no enmity set betwixt us.
He that maketh the rite to prosper, who is the thread stretched heavenward unto the gods— may we reach him, Agni, well-poured and well-pleased.
Now do we call the mind to this place, with soma set apart for Naraśaṃsa, and with the steadfast thoughts of our sires of old.
Let thy mind return unto us—for will, for craft, for breath of life, and for long beholding of the sun.
O fathers, let the godly kindred restore to us the mind.
May we walk in fellowship with the host of the living.
At thy bidding, O Soma, bearing the mind within our flesh, may we, and our seed with us, dwell in its fellowship still.
