Good Works Translation from Thai

This is the fourth สมุดไทย unit of the Rama I Ramakien as published by the Vajirayana Digital Library. It tells the birth-history of the monkey allies: Khodom and Kala Atchana, Sawaha's curse, the monkey sons of Indra and the Sun, the founding of Khitkhin, Hanuman's birth from Sawaha and Phra Phai, and Hanuman's early commissioning under Phra Isuan.

Translation

Khodom, the Birds, and the Fire-Born Woman

Now the tale will speak of radiant Thao Khodom. He ruled the city of Saket, but he had no daughter and no son. He grew weary of the royal fortune, cast it aside, and went out as an ascetic. He practiced meditation and deepened his vows for two thousand years, until his beard had grown like tangled grass and covered the breast of the strong meditating teacher. He closed his eyes, restrained his spirit, and lived in the manner of a forest ascetic who had learned the way.

Then a pair of forest weaverbirds saw the beard of the Swayambhu ascetic. Each year they came and made their nest there, until the female bird laid eggs and brooded them in the sage's beard. When the destined event was about to arise, the male bird said to his wife: "You stay and brood the eggs. Guard them and protect them. I will go out searching for food." Having spoken, the bird flew away.

When he reached the Himmaphan forest, he saw a broad lotus pond. The lotus blossoms were blooming beautifully, and he darted into a flower. He brushed and pecked at the fragrant pollen, eating in delight until evening darkened. Then the lotus folded its petals and shut him inside.

At dawn, when the sun rose over the mountain edges, the lotus opened to receive the morning light. Gladly he flew back to the nest.

When the female bird saw her husband, she became furious and said in anger, "Where have you been until this time?"

Then the male bird told the female bird, "I was shut inside a flower." He recounted the whole matter from the beginning.

Then the female bird heard her husband speak. She turned her back and answered: "Do not think I do not understand. You went to join a lover and enjoy yourself. Do not pause here making excuses. What lotus would shut you in? Do not smear the matter with words."

Then the male bird answered the female bird: "Why pierce me with resentment? If you do not believe me, I will swear an oath. If I have been false-hearted, may the sin of this vow-bearing ascetic fall upon me. The truth is that I was shut inside the flower and only returned at sunrise."

Then Phra Khodom, the diligent meditating teacher, heard the birds swearing to one another and wondered at it. He asked: "Look here, little male bird. You have come and nested here without falsehood. Why does this female bird make you swear so she can trust you? I have practiced vows for two thousand years. What sin could there be in that, which you would take upon yourself? What have I done, bird?"

Then the weaverbird answered the sage: "Your Majesty was a sovereign king, but you had neither son nor daughter. You left your royal fortune and came to keep vows in the forest, cutting off the royal kshatriya line that should rule the city after you. That sin of the holy one will be a great fault. I swore by it because I feared danger. Consider and examine this, holy ascetic."

Then the great ascetic heard the words as if they were nectar. He saw that they were wholly true. "Enough. I will set up a rite, a fire-pit and oblation by sacred science, so that a woman may be born in the midst of the fire, and I will raise her as my beloved." Having thought this, he cleaned his beard and moustache and arranged the hair of his head. When he had finished, he walked out before the forest hut.

He set up the sacred fire-pit and worshipped the fire by bright Vedic science. He closed his eyes, restrained his senses, and recited the spell.

When the full thousandfold recitation was complete, the earth moved, thundered, and shook. A woman arose in the middle of the fire, small-waisted, lovely in every limb.

She was more beautiful than a divine apsara, slender and graceful like a drawing. Her young, lovely form delighted the eye, resembling Phra Uma Devi. He gave the beautiful maiden the name Kala Atchana. The ascetic came out of the rite, delighted beyond thought. They joined in love, constant and joyful in heart, caressing, teasing, and drawing close in deep affection without parting.

Then beautiful Nang Kala Atchana lived with him in happiness and pleasure. After many months her love for the holy ascetic settled into pregnancy; when ten months were complete and the auspicious time arrived, the lovely woman gave birth to a daughter. They named the beautiful girl Sawaha. She was as lovely as a heavenly woman in her radiance, and her father and mother cherished and soothed the young goddess at all times.

Then Phra Khodom, strong in ascetic vows, when morning came and he would go into the forest, instructed his beloved wife Atchana: "Stay quietly in the house and raise the child. When you hold and carry her, do not be heavy-handed. I will go for fruit and will not be long. Once I have found it, I will return." Having given these instructions, the teacher took up his carrying-frame and yoke, set it on his shoulder, left the leaf-hut, and went toward the forest.

Indra and the Sun Divide Their Power

Now the tale will speak of the lord of the Thirty-Three heavens. He knew that fierce Nontok had been born as a kumbhanda in Lanka, the son of Thao Latsatian Brahma, powerful in might and terrible strength. His name was Thotsakan the asura. He would oppress the world-bearing earth, and Phra Narai would have to incarnate to slay that unrighteous yaksha.

"I must divide my power and bodily strength and send it down to be a warrior waiting upon the glorious lord, so that he can help destroy the great war. The husband of young Atchana has now gone into the forest. I will go down to her, touch the body of the beautiful woman, stir desire in her, and she will have a mighty son."

Having thought this, the lord put on divine ornaments shining through the sky. He left his heavenly palace and flew quickly down by his power.

When he reached the leaf-hut, he saw beautiful Nang Atchana sitting and stringing a garland of flowers. He went in to the lovely woman.

He spoke fair words: "Look here, young beloved, jewel of my heart. My mind yearns for you. My beloved, do not cut away affection. I am overcome with longing for your lovely form, and so I have broken my course and come here out of love. Auspicious one, do not end concern for me. Beloved, have pity."

Then beautiful Nang Kala Atchana saw the lord Hatsanai, his radiance shining and delighting the eye. His voice was like nectar, his words sweet with desire. Wondering at the form of Indra, she burned within her breast like poisonous fire. Passion and trembling rose in her, but from immeasurable shame she restrained her mind, turned her face aside, and did not speak.

"Beloved, my beloved, beautiful one, summit of desire. I came with my heart fixed upon you. Jewel of my eye, do not cut off friendship. My longing is so great I will die. Is it right that you show no sympathy? Why turn your face away and say nothing, goddess?"

He came close, stroked her back, embraced her, and soothed her. The woman became bound in answering affection and conceived by Indra's power.

Then he spoke fair words: "Look here, young beloved. Stay here gently. I ask leave to go." By his power he flew away to the city of heaven.

Then the great sage Khodom gathered such fruits as he could find and returned to the holy one's hut.

When he arrived, he lifted his beloved daughter, put her on his lap, embraced and kissed her, soothed her spirit, and delighted constantly in the royal girl.

Then charming Nang Kala Atchana carried the pregnancy to the full ten months. The lovely woman gave birth to a son. He was a boy, delicate and graceful, with a soft green body like emerald. He surpassed the sixteen heavens in beauty and was lovely in every part, like his divine father.

Then Phra Khodom, the strong meditating teacher, saw the young royal boy and assumed that he was the sage's own child. He did not know the trickery of beautiful Nang Atchana. He loved him more than the royal daughter and cherished him at all times. In the morning he instructed his beloved wife: "Beautiful one, I will go into the forest to gather whatever tree-fruits there are. Guard and protect the glorious son and daughter." Having instructed her, he left the hut and went into the Himmaphan forest.

Then charming Nang Atchana sat in the leaf-hut and saw the sun blazing strong, its clear radiance floating in mid-sky with red mingled into yellow, as if deliberately fashioned in beauty. Desire and longing arose in her for the maker of the day. She raised her hands over her head and bowed to mighty Phra Suriyan.

Then Phra Athit, strong in power and fierce in light, looked down with his divine eye and understood that Atchana the goddess was caught in desire. The Sun rejoiced, for he too intended to divide his power to aid the Chakri lord in subduing demons. Having considered it, he ordered his divine charioteer to drive the vast jeweled car, shining through the whole universe, and the brilliant Sun came down.

When he arrived, he saw the lovely woman with a face like a divine painting. He came near and said, "What were you saying just now?"

Then Atchana, who had understanding, knew that this was mighty Phra Athit. Her affection multiplied, but when she would answer she remembered shame. The beautiful woman glanced sidelong, frowned softly, and turned away, her heart shaken with longing.

"Beloved, beloved younger one, young beauty, summit of desire. I love you as my own heart. Why turn your face away, lovely woman? I came with my mind set on entrusting love to you. Is it right to break affection? Have pity, woman." Speaking so, he reached and drew near, stroked the back and face of the lovely one, gazed at her face, delighted in her, teased and clung close. The woman rejoiced.

When it was finished, the maker of day displayed his brave power and flew from the leaf-hut to his great victorious chariot.

Then Phra Khodom the ascetic wandered, gathered fruit, turned back, and returned.

When he arrived, he told his beloved wife, "Today I am very tired and hot." Speaking so, he took the prince, caressed his young son, and his heat eased.

Then lovely Nang Kala Atchana, from the day she rejoiced with Phra Thinakon, conceived again. When the full ten months were complete, she gave birth to a brilliant son, formed like Phra Suriyan himself, his complexion like a god's imagining. The woman lifted the little child to suckle, embraced him, kissed him, and cherished him in joy. The elder child stayed close against her, and she loved both him and the royal daughter. She carefully tended, soothed, and nourished them constantly every day, and no illness touched them.

Then the great sage Khodom, at the brightening of dawn when a great danger was about to arise, felt anxious and hot throughout his body, as if life itself would end. He wished to bathe in the Ganges at the great-water landing. He lifted the younger child on his right side; the elder brother rode on the sage's back; with his left hand he led the royal girl, and they walked along the road.

Then lovely Sawaha, hurt by her royal father, came down to the river muttering: "Alas, he is deluded with love for someone else's children. He carries one and lets one ride. His own child he makes walk on the earth. Father, you show no pity."

Then the strong vow-bearing ascetic heard her and grew doubtful in spirit. He asked: "Look here, little child, beloved of my heart. What strange thing are you saying, making your father doubtful? What is the reason, what is the beginning of the matter? Tell your father clearly."

Then Sawaha heard, bowed her face, lifted her hand to dry her tears, and told the matter from the beginning: "Ever since you went into the forest, my mother found happiness and pleasure with two men, twice, inside the hut. This is the truth, father."

Then the strong meditating teacher heard it. Darkness and confusion filled his spirit as if lightning-fire had been set against his heart. Both love and anger crowded his mind, and the holy man nearly wept blood. "She has taken lovers, shamelessly fearing no danger. My old love was wasted. As for the two boys, though I have raised and guarded them, if they are lovers' children the sight is pitiful, and the world will share in disgrace."

Having thought this, the ascetic raised his hands in reverence and made a vow of truth: "By the power of the meditation I have practiced, let this be made visible to my eyes. If these three children are flesh and blood of my line, when I throw them into the middle of the Ganges, let them swim back at once. If they are sons of other men, let them be unable to swim back. Let them become forest monkeys." Having made the test, he threw them out at once.

Nang Sawaha, his daughter, swam back to the sage. The two boys crossed the water and became monkeys, entering the forest. When Phra Khodom saw this clearly, all doubt and suspicion ended. He lifted his beloved daughter and returned to the leaf-hut.

When he reached the fragrant hut, the sage was furious and cried: "Hey, hey, look here, Atchana. Why has this come to be? You joined lovers and made shameful wickedness like a base, ill-omened woman. Let your body become stone. When Narai incarnates to destroy the lineage of evil yakshas on the victorious island of Lanka, let him take this rock and use it to bind the road. Let you sink in the ocean and never know how to rise, according to the curse I have laid, to satisfy my heart against you, ill-omened woman."

Then beautiful Nang Atchana was startled as if struck by thunder. Grieving, she said to her daughter: "I wasted strength carrying you in my womb. Every day I nourished and cared for you. You do not know the worth of the mother who raised you; you have destroyed your mother's life. You are a child born from my belly. Is it right to be a worm eating from within? I must go under a curse; as for you, may you suffer. Go stand in the wild forest with your mouth open, on one foot, catching the wind for food, at the edge of Mount Cakravala, according to this curse of mine. When you have a child who is a monkey, excellent in power, glorious among monkeys, then you will pass beyond this curse and end the ill-omened sin." Having spoken, she became stone.

Then lovely Sawaha bowed farewell to her father, wept in grief, and went away.

She reached the forest, opened her mouth, stood on one foot, and held a great tree branch with her hands, according to her mother's curse, remaining at Mount Cakravala.

Khitkhin Is Founded

Now the tale will speak of radiant Thao Hatsanai and mighty Phra Athit. They saw the sage had cursed their sons to become monkeys at the riverbank, enduring terrible suffering, stripped of rank, splendor, and honor, so that the ten directions would mock them. "We must go down to earth and create a royal city for them. We will consecrate the two mighty sons to rule over the earth. They will also wait for the incarnation, command troops, and destroy the yaksha hosts." Having thought this, they invited one another and descended to the forest place.

When they arrived, they lifted their beloved sons, caressed their faces, and soothed them. "You who are of the Sun lineage and of the heavenly line, we will fashion things so you may live in happiness." Then Indra and the Sun examined the land. When they found a broad auspicious site, they set the walls and boundary of a city.

Its three jeweled palaces stood high, their tips reaching the sky, like Vejayanta in heaven floating down to settle over the earth. One palace had a residence for the glorious viceroy; all were made of seven bright jewels, like great jeweled pavilions. Then they created beautiful inner women and attendants, and with victorious mantra they called divine retinues of forest monkeys.

They established ministers, commanders, and brave troops great and small to patrol and guard the mighty city, inside and outside, all from the monkey people. Then they named the royal city Buri Khitkhin. The son of Indra, lord among monkey-kings, was named Kakasa. The son of Phra Suriyan was named Sukhrip, the younger brother, and made great viceroy below his elder brother's feet. They taught the Vedas, sciences, rites, and mantras in full. Then they bestowed victorious blessing: "May your power be strong and shining." When this was finished, the two gods flew to the Tusita heaven.

Then King Kakasa lived happily every night with the women and attendants of the inner palace. The monkey ministers and armies were beyond counting. All had mighty strength and power, bold and victorious in war. Each monkey warrior had force, skill in battle, and a renowned name that made the whole earth tremble. The two rulers cared for subjects and people; the city stood firm in happiness. They went up to attend victorious Phra Suli. The elder brother loved his younger brother as if he were his own eye. Both maintained the mighty city without corruption or faction.

Now the tale will speak of radiant Thao Maha Chomphu. He was a supreme little-cakra lord on the earth and ruled the city of Chomphu. His queen and beloved was Nang Kaeo Udon, beautiful enough to charm the world, like a woman of the sixteen heavens. She was from northern Karo, lovely, bright-bodied, and adorned. They had no royal daughter or son, only attendants and noble retinues.

His close jeweled generals were capable and brave; his war troops, all skilled monkeys of power, were ready for battle. Phra Swayambhu had granted him the fierce and mighty son of Phra Kan, named Nilaphat, to be a beloved nephew. The king possessed excellent power, making the ten directions tremble. He bowed to no one in all three worlds except mighty Narai and Lord Isuan. He went up to attend Phra Itsara on great Mount Kailasa. He was a friend to King Kakasa, ruler of beautiful Khitkhin city; they shared sorrow, happiness, and life, and kept truth with one another. They visited constantly and felt no dislike or division. The two cities shared golden ground and sent offerings back and forth.

Hanuman Is Born

Now the tale will speak of Lord Isuan. He knew that lovely Atchana had angrily cursed her royal daughter to stand on one foot, catching wind for food, at the peak of Mount Cakravala. "I will give her a mighty son, who will become a warrior of the Chakri lord."

Having thought this, he divided his strength and commanded mighty Phra Phai: "Take the sacred divine weapons, together with the bodily strength of my own form, and cast them into Sawaha's mouth. A child will be born as a glorious monkey. The radiant diamond mace of power shall become his backbone down through his tail, so he can travel through the air. The victorious divine diamond trident shall become his body, arms, and feet. The radiant jeweled discus of power shall become the head of the brave monkey. The three mighty weapons will combine in majesty to make his body. Whenever he must destroy enemies, the mighty asura and yaksha hosts, let him draw the powerful diamond trident out from his chest and enter battle. Watch over him and guard him from danger. Let no one come near the beloved woman. You yourself will be the father of the monkey in the goddess's womb."

Then radiant Phra Phai received Phra Suli's power and the three divine weapons, bowed in farewell, mounted his cloud-horse, sprang through the sky, pierced the mist and cloud-banks, and came by power to Sawaha.

When he arrived, he took the three powerful divine weapons and cast them into the goddess's mouth according to the divine command. He said, "Phra Suli has granted a brave and mighty son. He has ordered me to guard against danger and protect the goddess."

Then beautiful Sawaha, from the time mighty Phra Phai brought down Phra Suli's weapons and cast them into her mouth, carried the pregnancy beyond ten months. A full thirty months passed by rule, and the lovely woman lived in happiness.

When the good auspicious hour arrived, the sun was clear of clouds and bright. In the Year of the Tiger, third month, on a Tuesday, the young woman gave birth to a son. He was a monkey who leapt out through her mouth, pure white and shining over his whole body, already as large as a sixteen-year-old, adorned like the moon.

Then Vayu's son, mighty as a lion, came out from his mother's womb and flew into the sky by his power.

He floated before his mother's face, his radiance shining in the sky. He had earrings, diamond fur, and bright jewel fangs. When he yawned, stars, moon, and sun appeared. He showed eight arms and four great faces, displaying vast power; then he came down and bowed to his mother. He also drew close to radiant Phra Phai, whom he knew as his revered father, and the monkey rejoiced.

Then radiant Phra Phai saw the monkey display power that shook earth and sky. He named him according to the divine command: Hanuman, brave in battle. He divided power and strength and gave them to the monkey, his son. Then he gave blessing: "May your power shine like caustic fire. May your famous name and rank be renowned, and may the ten directions not wait to oppose you."

Then lovely Sawaha saw that her son was a monkey, powerful like Phra Suriyan himself. Her heart was clear with joy, for she had passed beyond her mother's curse. She lifted her lovely child and gave him milk, embraced and kissed him, and stroked his whole body. "Life of my life, beloved of your mother. I pity that you have been born orphaned, without kin and in hardship. Mother and child cannot even be raised together. There is nothing here of any kind to give you, and besides this we must part. My longing is beyond measure. Entrust your body to Phra Phai, the radiant god who is your father. As for the earrings, diamond fur, and jewel fangs that are in your beloved body, if anyone comes and asks about them, that one is Narai, bearer of the discus, incarnated to destroy the yakshas. You must be loyal beneath his feet."

Then Hanuman, brave and victorious in heart, received his father Phra Phai's blessing with multiplied joy. He remembered his mother's command, raised joined hands, bowed to her beautiful feet, took leave of his revered father and mother, and the lord monkey flew away.

He wandered boldly, trying his power in the sky. Seeing the garden of lovely Phra Uma, he rejoiced and went straight in.

He pulled up plants and fruits, bent trees and gathered fruit for food, broke and toppled branches everywhere, and played as a monkey according to his own heart.

Then Lady Uma, summit of love, was dwelling with her women. She looked and saw the monkey, tiny, white, and shining. She grew angry like fire and cried out: "Hey, you ill-omened creature. Why have you come breaking my trees, the trees of me, chief wife of the wise lord of the world? Let your strength be reduced and diminished by half, fitting for your arrogant daring. So be it by my curse, beastly, ill-omened one."

Then Hanuman, brave and victorious, was frightened as if life had ended. He raised joined hands and answered the command: "I am foolish and ignorant. The fault would be enough to end my life. I did not know this was the garden of the divine mother. I thought it was a forest and was glad. Seeing ripe fruits, I gathered them to eat; I had no thought to insult you. For this careless act of mine, mother, please have mercy."

Then beautiful Phra Uma spoke with divine royal words: "Hey, mighty monkey. My command is proclaimed like diamond-iron inscribed on rock. I do not know how to take back my speech, but I will lessen it. When the lord who rests on the naga throne leaves the great Ocean of Milk and becomes glorious Phra Ram, and when he strokes your back down to your monkey tail, then you will be released from my curse, and your strength will return as before. Do not suffer or worry. Monkey, be well."

Then victorious Hanuman, having fallen under Phra Uma Devi's curse, returned down.

He roamed through the Himmaphan forest, through caves, streams, cliffs, and ravines. Seeing fine trees and fruits spread thickly everywhere, he climbed and clambered, plucked small branches, swung, leapt, broke great limbs, played, and danced as he liked in the Himmaphan forest.

Hanuman Is Given to Khitkhin

Now the tale will speak of radiant Phra Phai. He went to his jeweled palace and thought of Hanuman. "I must take him up to attend the Lord of the Three Worlds." Having thought this, he mounted his horse and flew to Himmaphan by his power.

When he arrived, he called his beloved son, caressed his face, and stroked the back of the glorious monkey. "Father will take you to attend Phra Suli on Mount Kailasa."

Then bold and brave Hanuman bowed his head to receive the command and followed his father in reverence.

Then radiant Phra Phai took mighty Hanuman and flew to the heavenly palace.

When he arrived, he bowed at the lotus feet and told Lord Isuan: "This is the son of lovely Sawaha. His name is Hanuman, brave and fierce."

Then Phra Isuan, supreme creator, heard Phra Phai and looked upon him. Seeing the little white monkey, he observed the strength and bearing of his courage and knew he was fit to be a warrior of the Chakri lord. The lord above heaven rejoiced. He taught him great mantras: spells to transform the body, disappear, stun others, and make the body firm and enduring. Then he spoke a blessing: "May your life be long through the age. May you have lion-like splendor and power. Though enemies strike and destroy you, monkey, when you die, come alive again."

Then mighty Hanuman received the blessing and learned the sciences of victorious Phra Itsara. He became skilled in performing acts of power and remembered austerity, rites, and methods. He served closely and faithfully beneath Phra Suli's feet.

Then radiant Phra Swayambhu saw that the monkey had mastered power and gave a divine royal command: "King Kakasa, son of Indra, and the brave monkey Sukhrip are younger brothers of lovely Sawaha, the mother of this monkey. They rule the city of Khitkhin, their power making the world tremble. They have neither children nor mighty grandchildren, no one to serve in their stead. I will send you and Chomphuphan, wise and brave, to dwell in the city of Khitkhin with mighty King Kakasa." Then he commanded radiant Chitubot: "Go find the lords of Khitkhin city. Tell the monkey kings to hurry up here."

Then brave Chitubot received the command, bowed in farewell, and flew straight away by his power.

When he arrived, he hovered in the sky before the victorious window and cried: "Look here, city-lord. Phra Suli summons you."

Then the son of Thao Hatsanai understood the command of the lord of the three worlds. Rejoicing, he invited his younger brother. Both put on full ornaments, grasped sharp diamond tridents, kicked upward through the clouds, and flew to Mount Kailasa.

When they arrived, they bowed at the feet of radiant Phra Swayambhu among the hosts of gods and nagas. The monkey lords waited to hear the command.

Then supreme Lord Isuan saw the two monkeys come up and rejoiced. He said: "Look here, sons of Amarin. Do you know your nephew? This is the son of young Sawaha; mighty Phra Phai is his father. His name is Hanuman, bold and brave as a lion. You are lords of a monkey city, yet you have no children or grandchildren. As for mighty Chomphuphan, he is proud, strong, and brave. I brought him to life from the sweat and grime of my body so he could serve me; he understands all special medicines. When Narai incarnates to destroy the yakshas, if fortune turns against him, this one will be able to remedy it. I will give them as mighty sons. Take them away with the royal nephew."

Having spoken, he called Hanuman and Chomphuphan out. "Both of you, entrust your bodies to them until life is done."

Then radiant Chomphuphan and Hanuman heard Phra Suli's divine command and rejoiced. They crawled forward, bowed their heads in homage at the feet of Lord Isuan, and paid reverence to the lords of Khitkhin city and mighty King Sukhrip.

Then the radiant son of Thao Hatsanai and his younger brother saw the two monkeys bow. Each stroked their backs and faces, delighted and soothing them: "It cannot be that we did not know you, lords of the divine lineage." Having spoken, they bowed their heads and addressed the lord of the three worlds: "Your mercy toward us of the monkey line could be described through death and birth without end. Your glory will be known as long as heaven and earth endure in Chomphu and Khitkhin city." Then all four monkeys raised joined hands above their heads, took leave of Phra Itsaromoli, and flew to the city by their power.

When they arrived, they sat above the throne, with ministers left and right. The kings gave royal ornaments, brilliant jeweled palaces, and women of the inner court, arranging every kind of thing for the beloved sons and nephews and leaving nothing neglected.

Then bold Hanuman, brave in battle, lived in the city of Chomphu-Khitkhin in lasting happiness. He was loyal and sincere, thinking no faction or anger. He went up to attend morning and evening as required and became one in whom they could place their eyes and trust. He was never idle in royal service and gave attention to every duty. The victorious city was happy and joyful, and the subjects rejoiced in peace.

อันชมพูพานฤทธิรงค์ / ก็อาจองเข้มแข็งแกล้วกล้า
เราชุบด้วยเหื่อไคลได้ใช้มา / สรรพยาวิเศษก็เข้าใจ
เมื่อนารายณ์อวตารไปผลาญยักษ์ / ถ้าเสียทีจักได้แก้ไข
จะให้เป็นโอรสยศไกร / จงพาไปกับราชนัดดา ฯ
