This local glossary is a shelf-specific companion to the central Good Works Glossary. It begins with the main rooms and named texts currently visible in the Chinese shelf.

Shelf Terms

Baojuan (寶卷) — "Precious scroll," a broad Chinese prose-and-verse textual and performance form used for Buddhist, devotional, sectarian, and local religious narratives. See The Precious Scroll of Incense Mountain.

Miaoshan (妙善) — The princess whose renunciation, ordeals, practice at Incense Mountain, healing sacrifice, and manifestation as Guanyin structure the Xiangshan Baojuan.

Xiangshan Baojuan (香山寶卷) — "The Precious Scroll of Incense Mountain," also identified in its Wikisource record as 觀世音菩薩本行經. The present Good Works page preserves the complete Traditional Chinese electronic reading text without claiming a settled authorship or historical print witness.

Luodao / Luo Teaching — A late imperial Chinese salvationist current associated with Luo Qing and the 五部六冊 textual complex. See The Scroll of Bitter Work and Awakening to the Way.

Wubu Liuce (五部六冊) — "The Five Books in Six Volumes," the textual complex in which 苦功悟道卷 is preserved.

Kugong Wudao Juan (苦功悟道卷) — "The Scroll of Bitter Work and Awakening to the Way," a Luodao scripture attributed to Luo Qing. The Tianjin/NLC witness also gives nearby title forms including 苦功悟道寶卷, 苦功悟道經, and 苦行悟道卷.

Unborn Father and Mother (無生父母) — A salvationist parental source-name appearing in the Luodao text's account of Amitabha recitation and return.

True emptiness (真空) — A key term in the Luodao translation, naming the unmoving, boundless reality identified with Dharma-body, homeland, and the source of transformation.
