This room gathers the folk tales and legends of Flanders and Brabant, in the Low Countries, in English. Some are tales collected among the people; others are literary legends that Belgian writers, working in French, shaped from that folklore. The introduction to each book says which kind it is and names its collector, author and translator wherever the book itself names them.
