The angel took the visionary inside the city and measured it — block by block, gate by gate, street by street, tower by tower. The architecture is exact. The materials are gold and sapphire. The bread is distributed. The altar burns. This is the city the Scrolls dreamed of, recorded in Aramaic across five caves of the Judean desert. This translation works directly from the Aramaic transcription of García Martínez and Tigchelaar.
