Prepare the powder called naracakā. Mix the appointed substances, and drink them with hot water. Let pippalī, padmaka, kurkuma, saindhava salt, tripurā, danti, vatsaka, and the other medicines be handled according to measure.

The instruction names parts, portions, powders, roots, salts, warm water, drinking, and preparation. It does not speak vaguely about healing; it gives the body what the body needs in ordered measure.

The healer distinguishes substance from substance and use from use. What warms, purges, soothes, or strengthens is not confused. In this way knowledge becomes mercy for the suffering body, and careful preparation becomes a form of compassion.
