The Valley-Spirit never dies;
She is the feminine, veiled deep in the depths
Her veiled gate is the root from which Heaven and Earth spring
It stretches on and on, like a soft strand of silk; spun without strain

谷神不死，是謂玄牝
玄牝之門，是謂天地根
綿綿若存，用之不勤
