Reader's Guide to Native American

✦ ─── ⟐ ─── ✦

The Native American shelf gathers the public texts, source dossiers, and support pages currently held under this tradition room. Use this page as a doorway into the shelf rather than as a complete history of the tradition.

Nation-Specific Rooms

  • Haida — Begin with the introduction, then use the reader's guide to enter the complete historical English reader of Haida Texts and Myths. Fourteen of its seventy-two units print Haida; the other fifty-eight are English-only in the 1905 edition, so the work is a partial-bilingual Haida witness rather than full source-language coverage.

Suggested Use

Begin with the introduction if one is present, then move into the rooms or individual texts listed above. For technical terms, names, and recurring concepts, use the local glossary on this shelf together with the central Good Works Glossary.
