A Good Works Translation from EDCS and Heidelberg Controls
Rosmerta appears most often beside Mercury, in Latin dedications from Treveran, Mediomatrician, Leucian, Germanic, and wider Roman-western contexts. These inscriptions show the goddess through actual cult acts: vows, shrines, gifts, altars, statues, village dedications, family safety, and paired divine names.

Reader Note
Most records in this dossier pair Rosmerta with Mercury. The Latin forms move between deae Rosmertae, Mercurio et Rosmertae, and fuller local or imperial frames such as in honorem domus divinae. The names remain visible because the evidence is cultic and epigraphic, not narrative myth.
The page is not a Gaulish-language translation. It is a Latin dossier of a Celtic goddess in Roman cult practice. The value is the whole cluster: women donors, freedmen, villages, Augustales, a record-office assistant, a shrine with images, an altar with two statues, a paired Mars Camulus/Mercury/Rosmerta context, and the wide geography of the cult.
Colophon
This page translates twenty-eight relevant Latin records from the inspected EDCS Rosmertae query for the Continental Celtic expansion of the Good Works Library. The English is source-close: damaged words stay damaged, common vow formulae are translated consistently, and local divine epithets such as Dubnocaratiaca, Abgatiacus, and Excingiorigiatus remain visible.
