Nibru, your praise befits the mouth —
may it be on every mouth!
Shrine of Nibru, shrine surpassing the abzu —
your E-kur is lapis lazuli.
Your prince surpasses all princes:
the Great Mountain, father Enlil.
Your great lady is the good woman,
mother Ninlil, excelling in queenship.
Your chief caretaker, supreme in heroic power,
is the warrior Ninurta.
The great minister, worthy of your true copper vessels,
who sweetens your bedchamber —
who guards your true divine powers, the guardian,
the shepherd who watches over your true divine powers —
your provider, begotten by the Great Mountain,
born of Ninlil:
Išme-Dagan, begotten by the Great Mountain, born of Ninlil,
who has won a great name among his teeming people,
casts himself at your feet.
Nibru, your praise befits the mouth —
may it be on every mouth!
For your true decrees
may the Anuna gods ever stand ready.
Shrine Nibru, ancient city where the divine powers are allotted —
your praise is sweet!
At the great festivals carefully prepared in Nibru,
the majesty of Enlil and Ninlil —
where the great gods [...] have [...].
